Brett Eldredge is on a mission to share his #GoodDayMovement with as many people as possible, and what better day to start than National Random Acts of Kindness Day. Inspired by his new country single “Good Day,” set to impact country radio on Monday, March 1st, Eldredge introduced the movement this week during CRS 2021: The Virtual Experience by donating full registrations to the entire week-long virtual event to a group of deserving radio partners who recently became unemployed.
‘I wanted to send my love to everybody because I know 2020 was rough,” Eldredge said. “I really hope for all of us we get some light at the end of this and can be back together again in 2021. I have a song called “Good Day” that I really think spreads the love out there, so I want to help spread that love by starting the Good Day Movement and giving away some free registrations for CRS. I love CRS and have since I started in this industry. I miss y’all, I love ya and I hope to see you soon.”
Written by Eldredge alongside Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, “Good Day” walks listeners through the powerful process of positive thinking, with Eldredge confident “it’s gonna be a good day” even when its “42, cold and rainy.” The track is featured on his fifth studio album, Sunday Drive, which was named to Best Of 2020 year-end lists by Rolling Stone, Esquire, Nashville Scene and more.
