Eldredge will then put a bow on the season Christmas morning with an appearance on NBC’s TODAY (12/25) during the 8am and 10am hours, performing more holiday hits from his critically-lauded album Glow.
The Warner Music Nashville recording artist’s latest album, Sunday Drive, has just received the honor of one of rolling stone’s 30 Best Country and Americana Albums of the year, taking the No. 4 spot on the list. Produced by GRAMMY-winning producers Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, the record debuted as the top-selling country album week of release and marked his fifth Top 5 on the Top Country Albums chart. Praise for the album continues to fly in with The Tennessean calling it “a creative rebirth for one of modern country’s most soulful vocalists,” also placing it on their Nashville’s Best Music of 2020, So Far list. People describes the album as “bounding anthems and expansive ballads not meant for indoor listening,” with Billboard naming it “his most compelling set yet, full of musical diversity and heart.” Eldredge has performed several Sunday Drive tracks on many television stages this year such as Good Morning America, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Late Night with Stephen Colbert and more.
The acclaimed vocalist recently joined award-winning Mexican singer-songwriter and actress Sofia Reyes for a brand new Latin version of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” (listen here). The official music video (watch here) features the pair recording the track at the historic Capitol Studio in LA. In 2016, Eldredge released a duet of the track with Meghan Trainor, which topped the Billboard Adult Contemporary and Holiday Music charts. The song is featured on his Christmas album Glow, which debuted at No. 2 on the country charts upon its release and was named to “Best of…” holiday albums lists by People, Entertainment Weekly and The Tennessean.
